Understand how the internet finds you.

Search engines and AI assistants are both ways people arrive. We show you each one, say where every number comes from, and never fill a gap with a guess.

01

Two kinds of data, kept apart.

Official search data
Clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, and the searches behind them come from Google Search Console, once you connect a site you have verified there.
Your own visit data
Views and where visitors came from are measured on your pages, without cookies. It is our measurement, labeled as such.
AI referrals
Visits that arrive from AI assistants are counted separately from search. We report the visits we can observe, not a total of every time an AI mentions you.
Nothing invented
If a source isn't connected you see Connect or No data — never a sample number.

02

Built so crawlers can read it.

Readable HTML
The full text of every page is in the HTML that is served, with a correct heading order.
Canonical URLs and redirects
Each page declares its one address, and old addresses redirect permanently.
Sitemap and robots.txt
Generated for every publication and updated when you publish.
Metadata and structured data
Titles, summaries, link previews, language, author, and dates — only fields that are true.
Live checks
After publishing we request the page ourselves and record what came back.
Real-visitor speed
Core Web Vitals are measured from actual visits, not a lab estimate.

03

You decide who may crawl.

Search crawlers
On by default. This includes the crawlers AI assistants use to find and cite pages when answering a question.
AI-training crawlers
A separate setting, off by default. Allowing search does not allow training, and the reverse.
llms.txt
Optional. Some tools read it; no search engine has said it affects ranking, and we don't treat it as if it does.

04

Recommendations you can check.

Every suggestion shows its evidence, the change it proposes, why, and how confident it is. You approve or dismiss it, and that decision is kept.

When a suggestion rests on AI judgment rather than measured data, it says so. We follow each search provider’s published guidelines; there is no secret rule for appearing in AI answers, and we don’t promise rankings or citations.

Your next idea belongs on the web.
